Frequently Asked Questions
Does the GIF Booth work best inside or outside?
The GIF Booth works great both inside and out. If you do want it outside, here are some rules and tips we use to make sure you have a great experience. Shade is important, setting up the booth in a covered shaded area is key. Wind, because of wind and other weather, backgrounds are typically not used when the booth is outdoors in an unprotected area. If the background is against a wall with shade, or in a protected alcove, a background may be able to be used.
How much space do you need?
Our most compact option is the GIF Booth without a background, the kiosk only takes up 3'x3', with a background the foot print is as much as 7'x11'ft depending on the background you choose. It could be as small as 7’x6’ with our smaller backgrounds.
Do you need power? Wifi?
YES! Wifi is a much better option than our cellular connections, ask your venue for more info. No, if there is no power available, we can run off battery with prior notice.
Do you print on-site?
With the GIF booth we do not recommend printing, but we do offer it as an optional add on if you would like. Why? Well the fun features of the gif booth are video based, Boomerang and GIFs, so they cannot be printed. Only the single shots could be printed, and we prefer the Open Booth quality prints over the GIF booth prints.
How do guests get their photo when it doesn’t print?
Our GIF Booth software asks for the guests phone number or email after their session. The photo is then sent to them, as well as a link the the gallery to view the entire event online, LIVE, as the images are being taken.
Can you personalize the images?
Yes, while this booth does not print, you can customize the image template, we can do a polaroid style, or a square format. See some examples HERE.
Are backgrounds required?
Do you have a theme for your event? No problem! We will work with you to do our best to match our photo booth background with your theme. Just make sure you mention it before the event! We have a selection of backgrounds to choose from so you might find one you need without having to customize one. You can see some of them in our gallery HERE.
How much does it cost to rent your GIF photo booth?
Rates depend on the number of hours, day of the week, and the season. Please send us an inquiry for accurate pricing for your event date. All of our packages include unlimited prints (for printing booths), an attendant to set up, run and tear down, props to use, custom print design, and your choice of background for the bus and open booths.
Do you travel?
The Photo Bus travels to events in the immediate Dallas/Fort Worth area at no additional cost. If you're curious about having this unique photo booth at your event outside of DFW, contact us and we'll see what we can do!
